Three Valleys Radio celebrated the 60th Anniversary of Off Shore Radio on March 28th with a marathon 10 hour look back at the best of the Pirates with interviews with Radio Caroline stalwarts Johnnie Walker, Keith Hampshire and Tom Edwards.
Added to those interviews were recording, now over 60 years old from Caroline, Big L Radio London, Swining Radio England, and the very rare live broadcast of the attempted hi-jacking of Radio North Sea International.
Presenters like Simon Dee, Tony Blackburn, Chris Moore, Johnnie Walker have become household names over the years.
Three Valleys Radio will be continuing it’s love affair with the Off Shore Stations with it’s “When Pirates Rules The Airwaves” programmes regularly throughout their weekly schedules.
