The book, ebook and audiobook will outline some of the great sporting stories that Nico covered during his 50 years working as a sports writer for local and national newspapers.
They include Dennis Taylor’s famous black ball 18-17 World Snooker Championship victory over Steve Davis in 1985 which captured the nation’s attention.
He was there in Hungary in 1992 when Nigel Mansell claimed his one and only Formula One title and Nico commuted to America the following year to watch “Our Nige” make history by winning the World IndyCar Series to become the only man to hold both titles simultaneously.

And Nico was at Wembley in 1988 to see Lawrie Sanchez head one of the most famous FA Cup Final goals ever that saw the Wimbledon “Crazy Gang” beat mighty Liverpool before interviewing his mate in the players’ bath.
